Staging Systems Award for the Best Automated Luminaire, for
HES’ DL-1 Digital Light Engine, at the AV Communications
Excellence Awards Banquet at
InfoComm. | The winners of the second
annual Rental & Staging Systems Awards were presented at ICIA’s
smash-hit AV Communications Excellence Awards Banquet, June 8 at
InfoComm. The Awards Banquet, a sold-out, high-profile event at
InfoComm, enabled more than 500 AV professionals to celebrate the
success of leaders and pioneers in the industry. The success of the
banquet (held the night prior to the opening of the show floor) was
a great kick-off to InfoComm, and a chance for the industry to honor
their peers.
The Rental & Staging Systems Awards were
co-sponsored by Rental & Staging Systems magazine and the
International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA), to
recognize extraordinary accomplishment in product development, and
in a broad array of staged events, large and small, in the corporate
staging as well as the entertainment market. Winners of awards for
the Best Staged Events of 2003 were selected by an independent panel
of judges headed by Awards Chair and Rental & Staging Systems
magazine executive editor David Keene. New Product Award winners
were selected via a special Rental & Staging Systems magazine
reader poll.
In the July issue of Rental & Staging
Systems magazine, a special extended feature will list all winners
in both the Best Product and Best Staged Event categories. Special
advertising/sponsorship opportunities will be available for winning
companies to highlight their winning entry with extended coverage
and extensive company contact information.
Judging for the
Rental & Staging Systems Awards was based on fulfillment of the
event producer’s concept, professionalism of show production and
execution, advanced technology used in the event staging, creative
use of technology and satisfaction of end user client.
